Patient Eyewear
Protective eyewear worn by the patient during laser procedures. Designed to be comfortable for someone lying still, easy to clean between patients, and clearly marked so anyone in the room can confirm it is the right pair.

Where it is used
Surgical theatres
Patient protection during Holmium and Thulium laser procedures, alongside the laser safety eyewear worn by staff. Typically held as a small set per theatre.
Dermatology and aesthetic clinics
Patient eye protection for treatment rooms. Clinics generally hold several pairs, since they are cleaned between every client and replaced as they wear.
One pair, the whole spectrum
Most laser eyewear is rated for a narrow band, which means a pair bought for one machine is not automatically right for the next one you buy. These shields are rated OD 7+ across 200 to 11000 nm, so they cover the full range in ordinary clinical use rather than a single device.
Visible light transmission is 0%, so they are fully opaque. The patient sees nothing through them, which is what you want for eye protection and worth explaining to the patient before you start.
Tell us what you are running on the order form and we will confirm suitability before anything ships. If you are not sure what wavelength your device uses, say so. It is a common question and we would rather answer it than have you guess.
